Chuck Wagon Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry that uses food as an opportunity to speak and demonstrate the gospel to the financially and spiritually poor in our region. This is a “loaves and fishes” ministry.

Feed My Sheep

Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” It’s been said that people don’t care what you know until they know that you care. Helping to meet some of the basic needs allows the opportunity to speak the truth of the gospel into people’s lives.

The vision for Chuck Wagon Ministries (CWM) is to provide meals and food bank services here locally in Wenatchee and to the under-served communities in remote areas of our region where similar services are not offered.

Food ministry is effective because the people that need these services are often experiencing some type of crisis in their lives. They’ve received a lot of bad news, but we show up with some “good news.” Chuck Wagon Ministries offers encouragement and prayer to any that want to receive it.

How We Do It

Our primary costs are for food and fuel for pickups and deliveries. CWM is funding this operation from donations by like-minded people and rely completely on volunteers to keep costs low. We will be good stewards with all donations - food and money.

Here in Wenatchee, Chuck Wagon Ministries conducts our own food bank at Kingdom Embassy Church in East Wenatchee each Saturday at 11:00am. If you know someone locally that needs food help, please direct them towards the church on Saturdays located at the corner of 1st and Rock Island Road. Details are always available on our Facebook page: “Chuck Wagon Ministries.”

Also in Wenatchee, we are partnering with Cafe’ in their “Dispensa” food bank program on Wednesday afternoons. You can find out more on their Facebook page: “Wenatchee Cafe.”

In Okanogan County we are partnering with the Aeneas Valley Community Church to reach the thousands of “off-gridders” living in poverty camps in the surrounding hills. There are pictures of this below.

Up on the Waterville Plateau we partner with Douglas Faith Fellowship, to provide food for families and individuals that don’t have access to local food services. This is a mobile food bank in a pick-up! Many of these people are “shut-ins” whose physical condition causes difficulties. Our teams visit these folks in their homes, pray for them, and give them ample amounts of food on a weekly basis. We have seen lots of fruit for the Lord. See pictures below.

As more food and donations become available, we hope to reach other areas that are underserved.
